Selling
20% Sellers Commission.
- Registration of a seller number – Fill in form with personal/company details with copy of ID
- Once assigned a seller number/account number with the auction, all delivered or collected stock is marked with that number and listed on the registration form under that number.
- The goods are advertised, internet marketed and displayed to the general public for auction that upcoming Wednesday or Saturday
- The good are sold to the highest bidder that Wednesday or Saturday on the auction starting 09h00.
- The following day you will be emailed an invoice with achieved prices and deductions of the 20% Sellers Commission – any queries to be emailed within 48 Hours
- Once the invoice is signed off, we payout the following week, Electronic Bank Transfer within 7 working days.
- Delivery of stock to the warehouse must take place on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays between 8am and 4:30pm.
Buying
15% Buyers Commission.
- View the stock photos online via our Website, Facebook or come and preview the items physically, the Tuesday or the Friday before the auction (recommended) or early in the morning before the auction starts.
- Once you are ready to buy – Register a buyer number at the designated auction office – Fill in form with personal/company details along with a copy of ID & R1000 Registration Deposit – Fully refundable if nothing purchased.
- Once registration is complete, you would have been assigned a buyers number card from 1-200, which is your number till you are finished bidding.
- Once you are finished bidding, return to the auction office, turn in your buyers number. You will be given a detailed invoice with all items purchased. All items are to be paid for in full on the day, items to be collected latest Monday following the auction by 10am. or a storage fee will be levied.
Collections / Transport
- 8One call clears it all with Johannesburg Auctioneers, we provide a collections team to pack, wrap and fetch your goods for auction.

- We take everything, if it’s one item or a whole house, we collect.
- Collection fee’s are not payable upfront, but deducted off your sales once the goods are sold.

Bakkie + Trailer + 2 Staff: R990 – Pretoria Area
Terms & Conditions
- All Handing Transport & Storage of goods are at your own risk (Insurance to be paid and organized by the seller/buyer)
- Johannesburg Auctioneers does not guarantee any goods sold on Auction whatsoever
- Johannesburg Auctioneers has the right to regulate the bidding and to withdraw any item at any time
- A Bid falling upon you is a legally binding agreement, should you not pay within 24 Hours, you are in default. The item(s) not paid for will be auctioned again at NO RESERVE. Sellers and buyers commission will be charged from the initial auction and second auction. Any loss on said items / monies will be for your account. You are responsible for the item(s) whether they are paid for or not.
- Johannesburg Auctioneers is not responsible for any goods on display during the auction.
- Proof of Identification can be requested for transactions
- The onus is on you to check at the office or our website to see if any terms and conditions have changed
- Reserves will be considered on specialized antiques, collectible &Vehicles. Prices are to be agreed with the AUCTIONEER ONLY & LISTED on stock sheet, if not goods will be sold at no reserve. Reserve Prices will be held for 1 Auction. After this period the onus is on the seller to reduce/remove the reserve or remove the goods from the auction. If the item is not removed before the next auction, the item/s will be sold at no reserve.
- Item(s) Cannot be withdrawn from the auction within 48 Hours from the auction, should you wish to do so a full buyers and sellers commission is chargeable
- All Queries are to be addressed within 48 Hours of receiving your invoice. Queries need to be addressed via email, text or WhatsApp.
